Thomas Inskeep: Kelli-Leigh has already sung (uncredited) on UK #1s by Secondcity and Duke Dumont, so she’s clearly got this house-diva thing down pat. Now she gets to wrap her big voice around an original song, and it’s a lovely thing. Reminiscent of some Frankie Knuckles productions from the ’90s, this fires on all cylinders.

David Sheffieck: Summer’s fading fast, but here’s a lovely memory to hold us through the months ahead. Kelli-Leigh — credited, thank god — is fantastic here, able to make a tossed-off “Mmm” an expression of longing, satisfaction, and hope. And A-Minor does solid work supporting her, providing a slightly harder edge while embracing exuberance and warm vibes.

Jonathan Bogart: Pleasant enough house track begging for a DJ set in which it can become something more.

Alfred Soto: Solid house, steeped in 1998’s great Deep Dish-Everything But the Girl track “Future of the Future” but without the vocal charisma. Graded on a curve because I’m dancing.

Will Adams: The chorus doesn’t really develop its own ideas, just circles around the title a bit, but damn it if the subtle trance elements in this — echoed piano chords, gated siren synth, ticking hi-hats — don’t have me feeling generous.

Katherine St Asaph: Am I going to overrate a slight-ish landfill house track purely on the grounds of my rooting for its vocalist? Good question.
