Brad Shoup: Is this, at long last, turbo-folk? Or is this just where I watch rock guitars put a pie in house piano’s face?

Patrick St. Michel: The merging of folk sounds with the contemporary is a neat idea, except here that settles for “throw some guitars on it.”

Katherine St Asaph: It’s nice to hear arena rock that sounds like it has actual arena ambitions. That it craps on crap dudes is just a bonus.

Thomas Inskeep: “Grand” and “dramatic” like if Trans-Siberian Orchestra decided to back up female pop singers, and had a nimble drummer.

Iain Mew: It’s one of those songs that gives up its big moment within ten seconds — I can pretty much picture the side-stage bursts of fire as the strings and power guitar kick in, and it leaves Katarina Grujic the challenge of trying to take things up further. She makes a fine, muscular attempt, but it’s a thankless task.

Jonathan Bogart: Serbian turbo-folk singer who got famous on Zvdezde Granda, an Idol-like singing contest, with a song about a man who done her wrong. And now you know everything interesting about it.
