So yes, there’s a theme to today’s pictures…

Kat Stevens: Sitting in the front seat? Kicking in the back seat? WHICH SEAT DO I TAKE? This is truly a serious issue!

Josh Langhoff: The back seat of their car is like a disco show! But wait — how did the New Boyz fit all the Escalade girls into their Camaro? It’d be like a clown car in there, UNLESS THEY LEFT WITH THE ESCALADE. Maybe these guys are flimflam artists who crisscross the country, trading up at every club. They’re frontin’, and they don’t care if we know.

Chuck Eddy: So is this the biggest anal sex hit since “Mickey” by Tony Basil, or did I forget one? “Roam” by the B-52s maybe? “100% Pure Love” by Crystal Waters? “Pull Up to the Bumper” by Grace Jones never even charted in the States — weird! Anyway, Cataracs & Dev are clearly doing all the driving here — New Boyz, even more than Far*East Movement before them, are just along for the ride. If I was at the wheel, I might’ve kicked them out halfway through.

Katherine St Asaph: Being sick is like having someone stuff a bunch of litmus strips up your ears. You’re all cloudy and bobbleheaded, can barely stay conscious, and only really good stimuli will register. I can thus report with total objectivity that once again, Dev manages to be the best — in this case, only listenable — part of yet another track featuring her. Where the hell is her solo album already?

Jonathan Bogart: Is it because New Boyz are more evidently talented than Far East Movement that their apparently inevitable Cataracs-and-Devving is far less interesting than “Like a G6”? Or is it because Dev is showing signs of a pulse on this one? Look, if she cares, it’s no longer cool.

Jer Fairall: Kinda sad to see these Boyz, whom I’d found endearing in the past, go the “Like a G6” route, but as far as shameless attempts at duplicating a recent hit single go, this is at least as good as what it is slavishly ripping off.
[6]

Martin Skidmore: I think their brief moment has passed, to be honest.
