The Singles Jukebox

Pop, to two decimal places.

Readers’ Week 2018

NOTE: The deadline has passed and Reader’s Week has closed!

Dear readers,

How have you been? We’ve been well, and hope you have been too. We’ve heard a lot of great new music and shared some of it, and our thoughts, with you during 2018. But like a greedy restaurant patron going back to the buffet for their ninth plate, we are insatiable, and we need more, more, more. That’s where you come in. Because there’s always too much music to take in, and too many corners for great pop to hide in, we’re again asking for your help. If there’s a song from 2018 that was in some way a single that we didn’t cover, and you think we should have, we want you to tell us.

Please email readersweek2018@thesinglesjukebox.com with details of your song by midnight at the end of Saturday, November 24th UTC. One choice per person, please. Here is a list of what we’ve already covered. We love to hear suggestions of songs that are outside our normal ranges and tastes, but any great choice will be lovingly considered. We’ll pick fifteen songs, and run them on the week beginning December 3rd.

But we don’t just want your suggestions (see, we told you we were greedy). We also want to hear what you think about the song. So optionally, you can submit a blurb and a score from 0 to 10 with your suggestion and we’ll run it on our site, either as part of an entry if we pick the song, or as part of a round-up post. It’ll be just like being a TSJ writer for a day, only without having to have an opinion on Drake. (Unless your blurb is about Drake.) (But it probably shouldn’t be, unless your choice is a Drake song.) (Please don’t pick a Drake song though.)

We love you, and we look forward to hearing from you.
