TRIUMPH!…

Rodney J. Greene: Ah, so that’s what Khaled does…
[6]

Ian Mathers: Really? Every single time? You’ve never had any missteps? No subpar guest verses? No productions that are more hollow triumphalism than something genuinely stirring? Really?
[5]

Dan MacRae: Attention Koch Employees. Do not show Khaled the SoundScan numbers for his new album. Said numbers may make proclamations about winning look a little bit on the silly side.
[7]

Martin Skidmore: In case you think the problem with Khaled’s records is that there aren’t enough guest rappers, there is a remix of this with Andre 3000, Cam’ron, Fabolous and several others added. Anyway, we settle here for an excellent growling T-Pain hook, less autotuned than usual, a typically delightful and perky Ludacris verse, a draggy and tired one from Rick Ross and a sneering final verse from Snoop. This might be my favourite Khaled number so far.

Alfred Soto: T-Pain does his annoying robo-mewl while Luda and Snoop flex muscles that we’ve seen before and look flaccid in this light. Ross comes off best, but he’s no winner, just the last man standing.
[5]

Al Shipley: Truth be told, both Khaled and T-Pain have been on losing streaks since the “I’m So Hood” remix almost 3 years ago (underperforming singles, retracted Jay-Z disses, signing Ace Hood, you name it). So this song feels something like an exercise in positive thinking, shrewdly teaming up with three rappers who seem to stay on top no matter how many garbage records they release. Luda even gets in the best line by calling back to “I’m So Hood.” If they start winning again, though, it won’t be because of this song.

John Seroff: I like that Luda refers to the “last time” this song was released; by my count, “All I Do” is the fifth go in three years that Khaled has put a variation of this same single on the charts. It’s T-Pain’s third ride at the rodeo and he’s more or less the only enjoyable factor: Ludacris and Ross are clearly using leftovers from “I’m So Hood” and “Out Here Grindin’” and listening to Snoop rapping about cooking crack is a bit depressing. Tough to love and not a quarter the fun of “Fed Up”. [5]

Matt Cibula: I’m sure I’m supposed to hate this but I don’t. Still kind of hard to get very excited about it, probably because Rick Ross kills the Ludamentum.
[5]

Anthony Easton: Entirely for the line “tighter than a million virgins”. Excess for its own sake is always appreciated.
