Patrick St. Michel: Someone who listened to Animal Collective a lot but imitated it in a really silly way.

Jonathan Bogart: My favorite work lately has tended to seriously smudge the line between “pop” and “indie” to productive ends. This jangles and drones too hard to be pop, and relies too much on a specific kind of affectation to be taken seriously in indie circles. The closest analogy I can reach for is the Ting Tings. Surprisingly, that’s a positive.

Brad Shoup: Could be a crackerjack theme to a kids’ show, but I’d hope an educational eye could come up with ten better adjectives for the phrase “bouncing off the walls like a bouncing ball”. Lwin stomp with Lauper vocal leaps, she doesn’t answer the question and I don’t know that I can either. But her fringe game? On point.

Anthony Easton: I am not sure I like this, perhaps a bit too self congratulatory, a bit too self satisfied, but it does have glockenspiel, which is nice.

David Lee: Love the industrial music box sounds, but could do without all the vocal schtick that distracts from the kinetic frenzy of the candied production.

Alfred Soto: Pitter-pattering like Gwen Stefani after chugging two Big Gulps, Tiny Dancer render tribal beats as frippery suitable for video games.
