Iain Mew: This sounds very tame and monotonous next to “Mercy”, seeming to go on and on to the point where it’s hard to believe that it’s much the shorter of the two. It doesn’t reach the same heights of drama but also doesn’t even come close on the number of funny lines; then the pointless cough sounds and the endless shout-outs take it over from boring into actually bad to listen to.

Are we supposed to find all this nigga nigga nigga stuff charming? Exactly how much of an asshole is he?

That said, best case this is Kanye feathering his nest, worst case it’s Kanye as immaculately self-absorbed cat obsessing over the minutiae of his own asshole(ry).
