Scott Mildenhall: FUSE ODG AND SPZ WELL Sean Paul continues to be one of the best at introducing songs. Fuse’s rise to dependable hitmaker (in another era something known as a “popstar”) has been a pleasant surprise. Three top ten hits is also 100% of the past year’s Afrobeats top ten hits, but each one has been something to cherish, all bringing a different kind of unabashed joy. The best case scenario is he one day has a greatest hits to match the one his sidekick here is somehow yet to release.

Thomas Inskeep: Caribbean EDM?! It’s fun enough. I mean, it’s hard to go wrong with a soca-pop record. Even Sean Paul doesn’t ruin it, and heaven knows he tries.

Daniel Montesinos-Donaghy: An influx of ugly-ass radiorave synths threaten to mess up the Afrobeats energy, but Sean Paul gracefully slides into the melee in the first move to not seriously dilute his brand in forever. He sounds more at home than his host, who continues sounding like the wettest blanket of all.

Alfred Soto: All this needed was Pitbull.

Crystal Leww: I really enjoy this if only because I can totally imagine that both of these guys are the type of corny fucker who do that thing where he sees a pretty girl and clutches his chest like he’s having a heart attack and starts yelling “GIRL U DANGEROUS LIKE A GUN.” It’s oddly sweet, somehow. Despite literally going for the lowest common denominator type of simile, it’s nice to feel like your hotness is powerful enough to literally kill’em dead.

Will Adams: “Girl, you murder everyone.” Jesus! If that’s the case, stop leering at her and just run away while you can!

Brad Shoup: Normally I like insistence, but it can’t just be the track doing it. Our men aren’t really riding the sunbeams here, just kicking endless game. I feel like I’m trapped in a DJ booth on a really really nice beach.
