Next, a first time team-up from two reggaeton big-hitters…

Andrew Karpan: Young Miko got it. Running circles around Alejandro, but never in a way that feels rude.

Alfred Soto: Listening to this decent churner is like overhearing two droids chirp their mutual affection.

Will Adams: The song seems set up to be a light breezy number, but then the percussion starts sputtering, skittering and tumbling in the background. It’s as if they’re the sparks Miko and Rauw describe in their respective verses. Neat trick.

Nortey Dowuona: Bryan Yepes, Caleb Calloway, Dimelo Ninow and executive producer, recording engineer and vocal producer Mauro have seemingly assembled a smooth, gentle Afrobeat composition that dabbles in languid sweetness then heavy, tight funk as it wishes, allowing both Young Miko and Rauw to turn surprisingly unengaged and dull performances all over it. My entire TSJ backlog for an instru- wait, never mind. Thank you, Zetta.

Ian Mathers: Both singers have a nice push-pull thing going, weaving in and out of the beat, which itself has a nice bite and heft to it. And yet the whole thing feels deceptively light and easy-flowing, best represented in the end of the video where it briefly appears we have the Puerto Rican “The Boy Is Mine” before something cuter happens instead.
